Note: This outline reflects a rough time frame of the class presentation. All subjects will be covered, but the actual day / time of the presentation may vary from this outline.

The Level II CARE class is designed for the technician or engineer who has completed the Excel CARE class (through M.O.V. Training Services or Honeywell Inc.'s  Home and Building Control Training Services) and is looking to expand their understanding of the Schematic, Control Strategy and Switching Logic abilities of the Excel CARE program. This is accomplished with the use of a class lab fulfilling the specification (sequence of operation) for an advanced airhandling unit. Students with a working knowledge of CARE are allowed to attend the class also.

What You Will Learn:

Who Needs Level II CARE Training?

Level II CARE training is designed for the engineer who needs to be able to use the Open LON configuration abilities of CARE 7 to configure network communications between LON devices. This includes creating and binding network variables, mapping points, designing a network, mapping CARE datapoints and working with XL10 controllers and 3rd party LON devices. The student attending this class should already have an understanding of the concepts of Control Strategies, Switching Logic and point editing.
