The Excel Building Supervisor (XBS) class is for the person whose job involves accessing information through an Excel Building Supervisor (XBS) directly from a C-bus, over a LAN or through a dialup phone connection. The class is also designed for the operator whose job requires the use of the Excel Building Supervisor's graphical interface, including the creation, modification and programming of the graphical interface. The 3 day class is more appropriate for the end user of the Excel Building Supervisor (XBS).
What You Will Learn:

Accessing and modifying data point attributes, time programs, controller parameters, historical trend data, etc.

Excel Building Supervisor LAN applications will be discussed, but this is not a networking class. Network setup and other network specific information will not be part of the class over and above what is required for Excel Building Supervisor applications.

The Excel Building Supervisor functions for Alarm and Operator Segregation, Occupancy Scheduling, Global Data Transfer and Event Programming (functions available only on PCs running Microsoft Windows NT or Windows 2000) will be discussed.
