Certification Training
In order to work with the WEBs System, Tridium and Honeywell require that as a business entity, a contractor has a Tridium certification. This certification assures Tridium and Honeywell that the contractor has the required knowledge to work competently with the WEBs system. This class is designed for the contractor who needs to get started in the WEBs system by earning his Tridium AX certification. Upon successful completion of this class, the student will have a strong knowledge of the Tridium system.

Level II WEBs Training, Real Job Programming
The Level II WEBs Training class is designed for the student who is responsible for designing a new job installation, programming the JACE controllers, the Honeywell XL10s, and programming the XL15c controllers. Need to integrate the LON XL50 and XL500 controllers? This is your class! This class also covers downloading / commissioning the controllers, which makes the class great for field techs also! The class also guides the student through setting up internet access to the JACE controllers and creation and programming of graphic displays.

Level I LCBS Training, Configuration and Programming
The Level I LCBS Training Class is designed for people
with all current skill levels in LonSpec and Rapid Zone, from the beginner to
experienced users. Emphasis is on the basic menu functions of the LonSpec
program, with a strong explanation of the XL10 controllers (CVAHU, UV and VAV
controllers are emphasized). The building management functions of the XL15a are
discussed and well as the programming concepts of the XL15a. Programming
concepts of the XL15c are covered also. Examples and explanations of Control
Loops, Logic Functions, Logic Loops, and Start Stop loops will be presented to
help the student make informed choices in their own projects. This is followed
by instruction in the use of the Command Display and an explanation and
demonstration of LonStation.
Student Background suggested for this class: Basic PC knowledge, Basic
understanding of HVAC systems and control strategies.

Level II LCBS Training, Advanced Level Programming
The Level II LCBS Training, Advanced Level Programming class is designed for engineers and technicians that have completed the Level I LCBS class and would like to expand their understanding of the possibilities of the LonSpec program. Heavy emphasis is placed on understanding the programming possibilities of the XL15a and the XL15c controllers. The majority of the class time is spent programming the XL15c controller. Class labs are designed to provide practical solutions to everyday problems.

Fundamentals Training Class
The Level I Excel CARE Training Class is designed for people with all current skill levels in Excel
CARE, from the beginner to experienced users. Emphasis is on the basic menu functions of
the Excel CARE program, with a strong explanation of the purposes of Schematics, Control
Strategy, Switching Logic and Controller Editors. Examples and explanations of Control
Strategy Icons will be presented to help the student make informed choices in their own
Excel CARE projects. This is followed by instruction in the use of the Live CARE
program, which is used to test the database that was created in Excel CARE, both as a
simulation running in the computer and as the program exists in a controller.
Student Background suggested for the Excel CARE class: Basic PC knowledge, Basic
understanding of HVAC systems and control strategies.

Level II CARE Training, CARE / LON Integration Training
This class focuses on the concepts and procedures that are part of the newest CARE version release, CARE 4.0. Learn how to use CARE to create a truly Open Communication system. Designing the Lon Network Architecture, creating and binding network variables, third party controller integration are some of the subjects covered. This class is designed for students who have taken the Level I CARE class or have a good working knowledge of CARE.

Solutions for Everyday Control Problems
The Level III CARE Training, Advanced Level Programming class is designed for engineers and technicians that
have completed the Excel CARE class and would like to expand their understanding of the
possibilities of the Excel CARE program. Heavy emphasis is placed on
understanding the function and use of additional Control Icons, additional hardware and
software point types and more complex switching logic applications, then applying them all
in an advanced level class project. Also covered are Upload and Download procedures
including the generation, printing and interpretation of a Controller Impact Report,
importing the uploaded database to Excel CARE (a very important procedure for the field
tech) and plant replication and copying procedures and global / common point applications.
Student background suggested for the Advanced Excel CARE class: Successful
completion of the Level I Excel CARE class, or extensive experience working with Excel CARE.
Level II CARE Training is not required, but is suggested.

Configuration and Zone Manager Programming class
The Excel 10/Zone Manager class provides 2-days of information on XL10 controller configuration steps, Zone Manager programming with the Excel CARE software programming tool, creation of an XL10 bus using Excel E-Vision, importing zone manager files to E-Vision and mapping points to and from the e-bus to the C-bus and the c-bus to the e-bus.

The Excel Building Supervisor (XBS)
Training Class
The Excel Building Supervisor Class is available in both a 3 day and a 4 day
format, and is designed for students of all levels of experience who wish a more complete
understanding of the setup and operation of an Excel Building Supervisor front end.
Included are Point Attribute, Parameter and Time Program manipulations as well as Remote
Site creation and Dialup applications. Operation of an Excel Building Supervisor as
connected to an EXCEL 5000 System application only will be covered (no specific legacy
applications will be discussed). The class is also for the programmer responsible for
creating, importing and programming graphics for use in an Excel Building Supervisor.
Student background suggested for the Excel Building Supervisor class: Basic PC
knowledge, basic knowledge of HVAC systems.

The XI581 / XI582 Operator
Interface Training Class
The XI581 / XI582 Operator Interface class is designed for the technician and building
operating engineer who will be working with the Excel 5000 System* controllers on-site,
and who needs to access information in the controller. This access allows changes in Time
Program information, commanding points to the manual / auto modes, reading point trend
data, accessing alarms, making changes to controller time programs including temporary
point overrides and holiday programming. Lots of hands-on lab work assures competence with
the interfaces by the end of this one day class.
Student background suggested for the XI581 / XI582 class: Basic HVAC
Knowledge.

XI584 Operator Interface Training
Class
The XI584 Operator Interface class is designed for field technicians who
need to be able to download an Excel CARE generated database to a controller in the EXCEL
5000 System family, or who needs to access and modify data point information, time
programs or parameter files. Included is working with the controller's flash chip (saving
or loading a database), and uploading an existing database from a controller and moving it
back into Excel CARE to update the Excel CARE database file (this is a very important
procedure!).
Student background suggested for the XI584 Operator Interface Class: Basic PC
knowledge, a basic understanding of HVAC systems and control strategies.
